If you've been wanting to get yourself a page from this Aquaman/Jabberjaw special, you'd be hard pressed to find a better one than this. The reason being, it not only provides images of both characters in conversation with one another, but some of the dialogue is actually quite poignant and should be meaningful to Aquaman fans, especially those who've struggled with Aquaman being treated as a joke for decades, ever since he first made his animated debut and was shown riding a sea horse in a slow gallop.

In the first panel, Jabberjaw points out the poster on the wall that advertises Aquaman's animated show. Aquaman reads the taglines aloud, then in a very brief but poignant moment in the second panel, in a low and solemn voice, he says the one thing fans have been complaining about since the 70's: "I never got any respect.".

Jabberjaw tries to console Arthur, telling him that in Jabberjaw's world, Aquaman was only ever a cartoon character (the irony!), created to promote the environment and good relations between land and sea.

If you are one of those Aquaman fans who has spent your entire life lamenting the publisher's treatment of the character, this is the page for you!
